Hairstylist / Assistant Colourist
Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the world of hair transformations? At Young Again Cuts Inc., we're in search of a skilled Hairstylist and Assistant Colourist to join our vibrant team. Although there is no immediate job opening at this time, we are currently taking on applications so as to gather a potential pool of qualified candidates. Our salon is opened 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday. Full time opportunities are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 5 days per week while part time opportunities are up to 5 hours per day, 6 days per week. All work is in person at the hair salon.
As a candidate, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional hair experiences for our clients and contributing to our mission of redefining beauty.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform haircuts for men, women, and children, catering to a diverse clientele.
Expertly execute various hair coloring techniques, including highlights, Ombre, balayage, colour corrections and more.
Ensure a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for our clients through shampooing, blow-drying, styling (such as Beach Wave) and blowouts.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning responsibilities.
Collaborate and assist other hairstylists/colourists as needed to ensure a seamless salon operation.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed hairstylist.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A valid hairstylist license (332A) issued by Skills Trades Ontario.
Must provide your own hairstyling tools.
